With the AOWD course you develop yourself in the field of recreational diving. This certification allows you to dive in deeper waters (max. 40 meters depth) and under more difficult conditions. To obtain this certification, three specialties must be completed. The two compulsory specialties Navigation and Deep Diving and another one of your choice.
The Advanced Open Water Diver is an important step on the way to advanced diving and expands your skills and knowledge significantly. It allows you to dive deeper and longer and prepares you for special dives such as wreck, drift or nitrox dives.
The AOWD includes the theory of the three specialties as well as the corresponding practical dives, under the guidance of an instructor. After successful completion of the required specialties you will receive the Certification Advanced Open Water Diver, which is recognized worldwide.

A mandatory requirement for the successful completion of the respective course is the practical training. This will incur additional costs. These costs are to be paid separately to the DiveCenter selected by you.
The pricing for the practical training is up to the respective DiveCenter and can vary accordingly.
Together with a dive buddy at your side you can now dive into deeper waters. Of course, after completing the AOWD course, many other specialties are available to you in our course program.
At the end of the course and with successful practical training you will receive your certification, which certifies that you have successfully completed the Advanced Open Water Diver course.
The purchase of an i.a.c. e-Academy course does not automatically lead to certification of the respective course. For a valid certification, the required practice units according to the Training Record Card must also be carried out with an i.a.c. instructor. Instructor and be finally approved by this instructor. The additional costs for the practice units/examinations are to be paid by the purchasing person to the DiveCenter itself.
