As an i.a.c. Instructor, you work professionally and independently, and you treat competitors and other training organizations with respect. You serve as a role model for divers, staff, and colleagues in terms of sportsmanship, professional competence, and conduct. You must adhere to the applicable training and safety guidelines.
You must also be at least 18 years old, have logged a minimum of 120 dives, and hold a valid medical certificate confirming your fitness to dive.
Together with our i.a.c. Dive Centers, we have been training divers around the world for more than 30 years.

A mandatory requirement for the successful completion of the respective course is the practical training. This will incur additional costs. These costs are to be paid separately to the DiveCenter selected by you.
The pricing for the practical training is up to the respective DiveCenter and can vary accordingly.
This course ensures that you not only know our guidelines but can apply them with confidence. You are the backbone of our organization and the foundation for your continued development within the i.a.c. system.
The remainder of your training will be coordinated with your designated Instructor Trainer or Instructor Training Center. Depending on the training model, additional training components, an assessment, or practical sessions may be required. These may be conducted in person, in a hybrid format, or fully online.
The purchase of an i.a.c. e-Academy course does not automatically lead to certification of the respective course. For a valid certification, the required practice units according to the Training Record Card must also be carried out with an i.a.c. instructor. Instructor and be finally approved by this instructor. The additional costs for the practice units/examinations are to be paid by the purchasing person to the DiveCenter itself.
