The i.a.c. Master Diver certification can be awarded upon request when you can demonstrate additional diving experience and completion of selected i.a.c. specialties covering emergency management and how to handle emergency and stressful situations — in other words, the proactive prevention of problems underwater.
To earn this certification, you must complete two i.a.c. Specialties: the mandatory i.a.c. Specialty Stress & Rescue and one additional i.a.c. Specialty of your choice. We recommend the i.a.c. Specialty Advanced First Aid, as it is a prerequisite for the i.a.c. Specialty Stress & Rescue.
At the end of the course, upon successful completion of the practical training, you will receive your certification, which attests that you have successfully completed the Master Diver course.

A mandatory requirement for the successful completion of the respective course is the practical training. This will incur additional costs. These costs are to be paid separately to the DiveCenter selected by you.
The pricing for the practical training is up to the respective DiveCenter and can vary accordingly.
From now on, you’re no longer just part of the dive group—you’ll be responsible for your fellow divers. You’ll support beginners and ensure everything runs smoothly both above and below the water’s surface. By completing additional i.a.c. Specialties, you’ll continue to expand your skills.
At the end of the course and upon successful completion of the practical training, you’ll receive your certification, which attests that you’ve successfully completed the i.a.c. Master Diver course.
The purchase of an i.a.c. e-Academy course does not automatically lead to certification of the respective course. For a valid certification, the required practice units according to the Training Record Card must also be carried out with an i.a.c. instructor. Instructor and be finally approved by this instructor. The additional costs for the practice units/examinations are to be paid by the purchasing person to the DiveCenter itself.
