Here you will learn how to deal with increased oxygen content in the breathing gas.
In this course you will learn the meaning of Nitrox, how to use it and its applications. After completing the course you will be able to plan your dives both safer and longer, because the higher oxygen content reduces the risk of decompression sickness.
In the theoretical part you will learn the specifics of diving with Nitrox and how to apply them with regard to your dive planning as well as how to control and monitor them for the execution of the dive.
After completion of the course i.a.c. Nitrox Basic you will be able to use Nitrox gas mixtures safely and effectively and increase your dive times.

A mandatory requirement for the successful completion of the respective course is the practical training. This will incur additional costs. These costs are to be paid separately to the DiveCenter selected by you.
The pricing for the practical training is up to the respective DiveCenter and can vary accordingly.
At the end of the course and with successful practical training, you will receive your certification, which certifies that you have successfully completed the Specialty Nitrox Basic.
The purchase of an i.a.c. e-Academy course does not automatically lead to certification of the respective course. For a valid certification, the required practice units according to the Training Record Card must also be carried out with an i.a.c. instructor. Instructor and be finally approved by this instructor. The additional costs for the practice units/examinations are to be paid by the purchasing person to the DiveCenter itself.
