Here you’ll learn how to achieve perfect buoyancy at any time during your dive.
After completing the i.a.c. Specialty Perfect Buoyancy course, you’ll be able to maintain perfect buoyancy in a wide variety of underwater situations and determine the appropriate amount of weight in various bodies of water while wearing different types of wetsuits. Prerequisites for practical sessions:

THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL TRAINING
- Breathing in relation to buoyancy
- The correct buoyancy weights and diver positioning
- The various buoyancy control systems
- Buoyancy control through breathing while on the pool floor (pivoting)
- Buoyancy control through breathing while free-floating
- Buoyancy control at various depths using the inflator
- Buoyancy control at various depths in a vertical position using the inflator (hovering)
- Buoyancy control at various depths using the mouth
- Minimum age of 12 years
- Proof of i.a.c. Indoor Diver certification or equivalent
- Proof of swimming ability
- Proof of good health
- For minors, a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian is required

A mandatory requirement for the successful completion of the respective course is the practical training. This will incur additional costs. These costs are to be paid separately to the DiveCenter selected by you.
The pricing for the practical training is up to the respective DiveCenter and can vary accordingly.
At the end of the course and upon successful completion of the practical training, you will receive your certification, which attests that you have successfully completed the i.a.c. Specialty Perfect Buoyancy course.
The purchase of an i.a.c. e-Academy course does not automatically lead to certification of the respective course. For a valid certification, the required practice units according to the Training Record Card must also be carried out with an i.a.c. instructor. Instructor and be finally approved by this instructor. The additional costs for the practice units/examinations are to be paid by the purchasing person to the DiveCenter itself.
