Here you will learn how to react appropriately in stressful situations and how the rescue chain works in detail.
The Stress & Rescue course focuses on handling emergency situations underwater. You will learn how to recognize problems early, how to avoid them and, if necessary, how to react quickly and effectively to emergencies in order to save a buddy’s life.
The course will simulate different emergency scenarios and you will learn how to best respond to different problem situations and emergencies – from a simple cramp to be solved to rescuing unconscious divers, dealing with breathing problems as well as rescuing divers from the water.
Communication and cooperation with other divers in dealing with emergencies is also an important part of the course. Here you will learn how to communicate quickly and effectively with other fellow divers to treat an emergency quickly and successfully.
Topics such as rescue equipment, diving medicine and diving equipment are also covered in detail.

A mandatory requirement for the successful completion of the respective course is the practical training. This will incur additional costs. These costs are to be paid separately to the DiveCenter selected by you.
The pricing for the practical training is up to the respective DiveCenter and can vary accordingly.
At the end of the course and with successful practical training you will receive your certification, which certifies that you have successfully completed the Specialty Stress & Rescue.
The purchase of an i.a.c. e-Academy course does not automatically lead to certification of the respective course. For a valid certification, the required practice units according to the Training Record Card must also be carried out with an i.a.c. instructor. Instructor and be finally approved by this instructor. The additional costs for the practice units/examinations are to be paid by the purchasing person to the DiveCenter itself.
